The shelter operates each day with one staff person that is also the animal control officer. Volunteers are always welcome to help with various tasks. Not all tasks are fun, but are a necessary part of keeping the shelter safe and for providing a neat and clean environment for the animals.

FOSTERING
At times, the shelter will impound older animals, animals with special needs, young animals or animals that will not do well in the shelter environment. When we receive these animals we may opt to place them in a foster environment where we feel it will benefit them.
To become a foster, you will need to complete an application. Once the application is reviewed, we will contact you to discuss details and requirements.
