General rules

Sidewalks need to be built and maintained to meet ADA guidelines so that people may use sidewalks as safe and clear travel ways.

The City Ordinance which governs sidewalks is Title 15

Section 15.03 covers ice removal and maintenance.

Section 15.04 covers blocking sidewalks.

Section 15.05 covers construction ( Permit required)

Section 15.06 covers occupying sidewalks.

The City has a 3 year payment plan available for sidewalk construction repair and replacement.  Contact the Planning Department 347-4422 ext 227 for information.
