National Library Week BOOK SALE
is happening now in the City Hall/Library Lobby.
We have had many book donations for this special event so
stop by and pick up some new reads! All proceeds benefit Children's Programming.
You can make your book sale donations inside the library at the front desk.
We also have some goodies for everyone who stops into the library this week to help us celebrate!

Story Time is on Facebook - Live!
You can catch Miss Kathy Preschool Tuesdays and Toddler Wednesdays at 10 am here on the Sturgis Public Library Facebook. Each week Miss Kathy puts together a "Grab Bag" of activities that accommodate each story hour. Call for curbside pickup or stop in during business hours to grab one for the kiddos. *Limited number available, first come first served.
Monday, April 12th Digital Spotlight - Sesame Street in Communities
Explore how this fun resource is addressing kids' developmental, physical, and emotional needs with Miss Kathy! Providing your family with fun activities and tips on 36 different topics, this resource is here to support you in providing for children and families.
Maker Monday Craft Bags
Test your brain with Miss Kathy's craft and challenge bags! Bags available on Monday April 5th & 19th.
ADULT PROGRAMS - Stress Awareness Focus
Headspace Party on GOOSECHASE ADULT ONLY Begins April 11th-30th
Participants can join the party online or by app (GOOSECHASE) by following these simple steps:
1. Download the GooseChase iOS or Android app. Or visit GooseChase.com to get started.
2. Choose to play as a guest, or register for a personal account with a username & password of your choice.
3. Search and select the Headspace Party (SturgisLibrary) game, or searchable by game code R74KJV
4. Select a team or create one. Complete as many missions as you can before April ends!
**Participation is optional. Alternate participation options may be available upon request.
Participant information will not be misused or made public by the library.
Headspace - Stress Party Packs Pick up available April 12th
It’s Stress Awareness month and we are preparing you with a party pack to promote your mind wellness and destress! Journals, Pens, Stickers, and more included. **WHILE SUPPLIES LAST**
Winter Reading Tracker Bookshelf - ADULTS ONLY
Stop in and pick up your blank bookshelf bookmark to record your 2021 reads. If you turn it in (finished or not) before the year ends you will receive a special gift!

SBHS Annual Art Show @ the Library
Visit the library this April and view the Sturgis Brown High School Art Show. Fun and enticing projects for all to enjoy!
❗ CALLING ALL QUILTERS ❗
The library's Quilt Show is from May 17th - June 30th, 2021. Participants can bring in a maximum of 2 quilts, no larger than full-size, to be displayed and observed by the community. Quilt submissions are accepted May 1st-15th. Please call Ruth Mechling at 720-2293, or the Sturgis Public Library at 347-2624, for more information.
Green Thumb Gala
The Library is once again planning our Green Thumb Gala Fundraiser! Event is tentatively scheduled for May 17-21, 2021. This special event gives everyone an opportunity to decorate a pot, put a plant in it, and donate it to the silent auction. Let's start dreaming for Spring!
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten!
