STURGIS – Demographic and visitation information were among the details shared about the 83^rd City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally during the 2023 Post-Rally Summit at the Sturgis Community Center Tuesday.

The annual event brings together those who cater to rallygoers to learn more about who attends and what it takes to market to them.

Sturgis Mayor Mark Carstensen gave the welcome followed by programs on rally initiatives, attendee demographics, sponsorship insights and impacts on local businesses.

Following the presentations, the mayor presented checks to area non-profits with proceeds from Rally events such as the mayor’s ride.
