STURGIS – Due to the Fourth of July holiday and planned community events, the Sturgis City Council meeting will not be held on Monday, July 3. 

Instead, the meeting has been moved to Wednesday, July 5. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at Sturgis City Hall, 1040 Harley-Davidson Way, Sturgis.

Sturgis hosts a fireworks show beginning at dusk on July 3. 

Sturgis City offices and the Sturgis Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. There also will be no garbage collection on that day.
