Housing Study
In early 2014, the City hired a consultant to conduct a housing study of the Sturgis community. The Study identified current housing availability as well as needs based on population. The study confirmed the belief that Sturgis has a significant housing need in all areas including entry level owner occupied and rentals.
Following this study several presentations were given to area developers which has since spurred several housing developments within the City.
