The Finance Department is responsible for controlling, supervising, and maintaining the accounting system for all departments and offices of the municipality; which is done in accordance with GAAP, GASB regulations, and State law. The Finance Office also serves as the payment center for municipal utilities.

In addition to financial duties, the Finance Office is also responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the municipal election process for both annual and special elections including setting the election schedule, verifying signatures of registered voters on petitions, confirming candidate eligibility, printing ballots, and managing the polling locations.

The Finance Office also maintains records relating to burial locations, vendor licensing, beer wine & liquor licensing, and contract administration.  City Council meetings and minutes are recorded with the Finance Office along with other critical and historical documents.

The Finance Office is located on the first floor of City Hall at the corner of Sherman Street and Harley-Davidson Way.
