March, 2019:  The contractor finished the storm sewer and water line construction.  He also worked on cleaning up the area.  Construction on the curb and gutter and asphalt will happen later in May or June.  The contractor is ahead of schedule.

In 2018, the City began planning the development of a small parcel of City-owned land located along the Bear Butte Drainage.
The undeveloped land, located on Woodland Drive, consists of approximately 1.25 acres.
The property location is outside the 100-year floodplain.

The goal was to re-parcel the lot into four single-family, work-force housing units.  The lots will each have one Governor's Home with a garage.
These homes will be sold to qualified home-buyers through the SD Governor's Home Program.   Tif District and Project Plan presented at the April 16 City Council meeting:  Council Report.   Audio File
