ABOUT:

Canyon View Estates is located within the city limits of Sturgis.  The development is fronted on the north by Pine View Drive and abuts National Forest Service on the south.  This property is accessed from Exit 32 on I-90 via Junction Avenue (south of I90).

This 19 lot subdivision contains a mix of moderately priced townhomes and single-family residential units. The development has a stormwater detention basin to retain the stormwater from the development as well as excess water from areas west of the development. A walking and biking path runs the length of the subdivision and provides the public with a paved trail from Pine View Drive to the U.S. Forest Service property.

The project was developed by Sharaf2 Properties, LLC of Rapid City through a private tax incremental financing agreement (TIF #13).

Construction began in the fall of 2015.  The development was completed in 2020.
