The City of Sturgis and Meade County operate under a three-mile platting jurisdiction for platting. This agreement is reviewed and revised at least every 5 years. Areas within the following designations are subject to the following regulations: Area #1: Subject to City of Sturgis subdivision and design standards and will be submitted to the City for approval. The City will provide the opportunity for the County to review and provide comment on the plat. Area #2: Subject to Meade County subdivision and design standards and will be submitted to the County for approval.
